COOPERATIVE COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT - A PLAN FOR MnSCU LIBRARIES

By following the links below, you can review a series of documents that address issues of cooperative collection development. The first is the most recent version of the plan that outlines the approach that MnSCU libraries developed to give direction to our cooperative collection development effort. The second document was prepared by MnSCU and sets out their perspective on how the funds may be spent during FY2001. Copies of these guidelines were sent to the chief financial officer on each campus. Document III notes the amount of supplemental funding each campus received for FY2001. These figures are preliminary and subject to revision. Document IV is a list of each library's collecting areas. Document V consists of two parts: part 1 being information relating to preparing a year-end report and part 2 consisting of the FY01 Summary Report the the MnSCU Library Advisory Council submitted to the MnSCU administration. Lastly, number V consists of links to earlier documents and guidelines that have been superceded or revised but will help us recall how our cooperative effort developed.

Many librarians and administrators worked together to develop our plan.
